The distant innocence
We are leaving far behind
Your last words will be burning in my mind
In the winter time
Well summer is over
We were tangled in the morning sun
Felt you getting colder
I knew that we would come undone
And it's back to my town, back to your life
Gray skies are blowing a kiss goodbye, goodbye
Summer is over - Jon McLaughlin feat. Sara BareillesSummer is truly over, however I'm starting to feel summer poke out a bit these last few days. Last glimpse of summer before we are headed towards our own doom?
I'm kidding, I always like to be overly dramatic.
However winter does spell out Exams, Assignments, hard at work at the library hidden under a pile of the most sophisticated scientific books you could ever read. It's something that I never look forward to but I do however love winter weather. (When it is good).
Clear skies, Sun pouring down making us feel warm while walking through the winter air. Yeah, I just love that.
It's not that I hate summer weather, I just don't adapt well to hot weather. You can't wear less layers, but you can always put on more. So winter does it for me (: ..
So. My trip went well.
Oh who am I kidding,
IT WAS FREAKING AMAZING.
Well we did have a few bumps along the road.. I think my parents have gone to the "old people rambling on about random stuff" state which made me feel quite sad at times, but I'm glad we did this.
No tour guides, no one to take us anywhere, tell us anything, we just went with the bags on our back and, okay a few shopping bags, and we roamed around Paris, Italy and London.
The strength in my parents is unbelievable and I'm so glad we did this together. It was like amazing race without the disturbing food and fear factor activities.
It was truly an experience that I'll remember forever. Since that time, I think Europe has transformed me into an active traveler. Now I just want to explore every inch of this planet. I want to go to the highest of skyscrapers in New York and into the deepest jungle in Africa. I use to just want to go and pack a bunch of my stuff and go to places to shop, relax, experience things that I could never experience in NZ. I use to just go places that were within my comfort zone. Where everyone spoke English and I could get by so well. But now I just seriously want to travel for the exploration and discovery of new and truly foreign places. I'm definitely packing light next time. It's the whole walking down ally ways and getting lost in small roads that change a whole holiday into an adventure.
I know it is overpriced, but I am seriously contemplating about joining con tiki tours at the end of this year. (If I have saved enough money after I buy my iphone 5....) I really REALLY want to go visit New York, or Switzerland. Those places would be so amazing. And you get to meet new and amazing people at the same time. Oh well it's good to dream...
Me and my aunt made a deal that someday in our life time, both of us are going to go see the Northern Lights
and the Midnight Sun in Alaska.

Those 2 are on both of our bucket lists before we die and it would be an INCREDIBLE experience!!
Anywho, my trip to Europe is way too long to write out. As much as I want to, I just really can't be bothered writing every experience I had.
So here are a collection of photos from the places I visited.
P.s. THE QUALITY OF THE SERVIETTES WERE SO GOOD. ITS LIKE NEARLY CLOTH FEELING BUT IT CAN BE RIPPED IN HALF. We stole some home. Okay that was one of the things I really liked LOL. Random but it was something I've never seen before... or felt.
Anywho, the photos that I promised from my last blog.
Sorry they not in order.
KLIA (:
